be courteous at all times, but feel free to ask questions if you don't
understand something the client said

discuss any issues about the job that concerns you or anything that may affect
your output or the time taken to do the job

confirm the time you arrived on the job or when you started the work, whichever
is applicable

discuss any specific situations like driving time or gas re-imbursement if
applicable before you take up the job, especially if you're expecting extra
payment

confirm the price that was agreed upon before starting the work, and collect
your payment when you finish
